Fonds Perdus présente une sélection de publications (livres d’artistes, périodiques, fanzines, histoire de l’art, anthologie, théorie, littérature) et raconte l’histoire d’un groupe d’artistes queer aux identités variées qui s’est formé sous une impulsion militante commune : celle de partager et d’archiver la production graphique de la communauté LGBTQ+. L’exposition reconstitue la table qui permettait au collectif de se retrouver lors de dîners organisés dans leur atelier. Intitulées « plats de résistance », ces soirées étaient l’occasion de présenter à tour de rôle leurs dernières trouvailles éditoriales. Dans une ambiance sonore mêlant archives et captations, le public est invité à consulter un fonds documentaire aux thématiques queer et à comprendre les enjeux de l’acte de publier.

Fonds Perdus presents a selection of publications (artists’ books, periodicals, fanzines, art history, anthology, theory, literature) and tells the story of a group of queer artists of various identities that was formed under a common militant impulse: to share and archive the graphic production of the LGBTQ+ community. The exhibition reconstructs the table where the collective used to meet during dinners organized in their workshop. These evenings, called « plats de résistance », were an opportunity to present their latest editorial discoveries. In a musical setting blending archives and recordings, the public is invited to consult a collection of queer-themed documents and to understand the issues involved in the act of publishing.

The fresco of the festival by L3 BD students! With the help of an artist,
the students of the Licence Bande Dessinée of the UFR des Arts will create a fresco representing the meetings, debates and shows that will take place during the week of the festival. Come and discover it!
