Lorsqu’ils sont en Italie, le pays qu’ont quitté leurs ancêtres pour venir travailler dans les mines, on leur dit qu’ils sont Belges. Mais chez eux, en Belgique, on ne cesse de leur répéter qu’ils sont Italiens… D’où viennent-ils ? À cette question tout sauf anodine, Hervé Guerrisi et Grégory Carnoli ne savent plus bien quoi répondre. Les deux acteurs, petits-fils de migrant·es, décident alors de refaire le chemin en sens inverse. Ils partent ensemble à l’aventure, sur les traces de leur propre généalogie.
Hervé et Grégory nous embarquent dans un voyage théâtral virevoltant, où ils interrogent nos identités et notre héritage.

When they are in Italy, the country their ancestors left to work in the mines, they are told they are Belgians. However, back home, in Belgium, they are constantly told that they are Italians… Where do they come from? This is anything but a trivial question. Hervé Guerrisi and Grégory Carnoli no longer know what to answer. The two actors, grandsons of migrants, decided to retrace the path in the opposite direction. They set off on an adventure together, in the footsteps of their own genealogy.
Hervé and Grégory take us on a twirling theatrical journey, where they question our identities and our heritage.
