A must-see for summer, the Gardens Festival continues its expansion and invites you to play the part of Robinson Crusoe on a vast area of land. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the Hortillonnages of Amiens in a different light, glorified by young landscapers, architects or visual artists, whether it be on foot in Amiens at the “Ile aux Fagots” and towpath or by boat on the Clermont Lake in Camon. In the last 8 years, many projects have been created outside of the market gardens and attraction of the Hortillonnages. For example, at Amiens Metropole’s Tourist Office at the foot of the Cathedral, in front of the Maison de la Culture where a new garden will be commissioned, in the retail park in the north of the city or in Long, a charming village in the Somme. The festival also extends to the north of France through a new project called “Art & Jardins / Hauts-de-France“. In September of this year, you will be able to visit other towns to discover new artistic and landscape works. On the international scene and after England In previous years, it will be the turn of Tehran in Iran where the festival will propose 3 new garden projects.
